Liko School implements the international Cambridge Lower Secondary programme for grades 7–9 students. The programme is focused on an in-depth study of academic disciplines, developing critical thinking skills and the formation of competences necessary for successful implementation in the modern world.
Students work through a curriculum that includes core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, and Global Perspectives.

The outcome of this stage is the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint international test at the end of Year 9. Assessment in English, mathematics and science provides an objective picture of academic achievement and prepares students for further study at high school.
