At Liko School, students in grades 10–11 study the international Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) programme.
Cambridge IGCSE is an internationally recognised qualification that meets modern educational standards and global trends. The programme is an ideal basis for further study at AS, A Level or International Baccalaureate Diploma levels and for admission to the world's leading universities.
The compulsory curriculum includes the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (in the format of combined study), Global Perspectives.
In addition to compulsory subjects, students can choose additional subjects of interest: World Literature, French, German, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
At the end of the programme, students sit the Cambridge IGCSE Checkpoint examinations, which are set, assessed and certified by the University of Cambridge. This final assessment for students aged 15–16 provides an objective international evaluation of their academic achievements and prepares them for the next stage of their educational journey.
